ED officials on Friday questioned Congress’ Karnataka unit president DK Shivakumar in Delhi in connection with an alleged money laundering case related to the ‘National Herald’. Officials gave this information.
Before going inside the ED office, Shivakumar told reporters that he was a “law abiding citizen” and therefore had come to appear before the federal agency, even though he did not even know why he was called here.
An ED source said, the Dotex firm had allegedly paid Rs 1 crore to Young Indian. It was a loan he gave in 2010. The loan given by Dotex Merchandise was never returned. Wii was included when paying off this loan.
