State-run Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd (HAL) will make and sell Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) or drones in partnership with Israeli Aerospace Industries Ltd (IAI) and Dynamatic Technologies Ltd for the Indian defence, para-military and Central armed forces, the aerospace major said on Wednesday.

“We have signed an agreement with IAI and Dynamatic for making and selling the drones for Indian forces,” said the official at the margins of the biennial 11th edition of DefExpo 2020 here.

HAL executive director Sanjiv Shukla, IAI vice-president Eli Alfassi and Hydraulics and Homeland Sercurity chief operation officer Arvind Mishra signed the agreement for Dynamite in the presence of HAL chairman R. Madhavan after Prime Minister Narendra Modi flagged off the 5-day mega event.
