In an exciting match played at the Maharaja Yadavindra Singh International Cricket Stadium in Mullanpur on Tuesday, Punjab Kings defeated Gujarat Titans by 3 wickets. The star of the match was Australian batter Cooper Connolly, who played a blazing unbeaten knock of 72 runs off just 44 balls.
Batting first, Gujarat Titans posted 162 for 6. Captain Shubman Gill scored 39 runs off 27 balls while Jos Buttler contributed 38 runs. Glenn Phillips added 25 runs. For Punjab, Vijaykumar Vyshak took 3 wickets and Yuzvendra Chahal picked up 2.
