Mewat will not be allowed to become a graveyard for Hindus: Surendra Jain

It was not even 15 minutes since the start of the yatra that the miscreants started pelting bullets, stones and arson on them. When the devotees saw that the situation was going out of control, tried to retreat, then saw that stones were raining from behind. Petrol bombs were hurled at them, with great difficulty we were able to save some people and bring them back to the temple of Nalhad Mahadev. It was only a matter of time that the rioters came from in front of that temple as well. Cars, buses and other vehicles were set on fire and bullets were fired at whoever appeared in front of them.

Two people got bullets. Almost all the vehicles were burnt or smashed. When the police came, seeing the police, the miscreants ran away and climbed the hills and started firing at the women, children and other devotees who had taken shelter in the temple from all the three sides. A devotee becomes a sacrifice. Some other people also get bullets. With great difficulty the administration controlled them and then took them out from there and brought them to the police line. But till then we had seen this scene that entire Mewat has become mini Pakistan. There is siege from all sides, passengers are surrounded everywhere. Somewhere they took refuge in temples, somewhere in police outposts and those temples and other outposts were also attacked.

Dr. Jain alleged that the people who instigate these rioters are responsible for this incident, because of their instigation, attacks happen on Muharram and Ram Navami. How many other people have been sacrificed, they are being ascertained, even the administration is not able to get the correct figures in this regard. Arrangements are being made for the concern of the injured and their proper treatment.

But it is an occasion for serious introspection that a Direct Action type of atmosphere was created in Noah yesterday. I would also like to say to those clerics who try to instigate on any pretext, this side effect has been seen. This is not right. This is suicidal tendency. He asked that by bringing small children forward and setting them ablaze, what kind of future are you creating for them? You may be in majority there, but it does not mean that you will make it a graveyard for Hindus? This misdeed cannot be tolerated under any circumstances.

He announced that in protest against this cruel attack on Hindu religious pilgrimage, on August 2, dharnas will be held across the country, in all district places, and effigies of Jihad will be burnt. Due to this terrorist attack, two workers of Bajrang Dal have been brutally murdered and two other people of the society have also been sacrificed, Vishwa Hindu Parishad demands that one crore rupees should be given to their families. Those injured should be given Rs 20 lakh and those whose vehicles and buses have been destroyed should be given full compensation, for which the government should also take responsibility. The entire Mewat area should be sealed and combing should be done and each and every Jihadi should be caught and punished severely, then only this anti-Hindu, anti-national terror going on in Mewat can be stopped.
