Under the nationwide vaccination campaign, more than 61 crore 22 lakh vaccines have been administered in the country so far. More than 79 lakh 48 thousand have been vaccinated during the last 24 hours. During this, 44 thousand 658 new Kovid cases were confirmed. The Health Ministry has informed that at present three lakh 44 thousand 899 patients are undergoing treatment.
The rate of infection has come down to one decimal zero six percent. Yesterday 32 thousand 988 patients were cured of infection. So far more than three crore 18 lakh 21 thousand have been cured. The recovery rate has gone up to 97.6%. The weekly rate of infection is two decimal one percent. The testing capacity has been increased. So far 51 crore 49 lakh Kovid samples have been tested.
