Muslim mob attacks Hindus taking out Ramnidhi Sangrahan rally in Ujjain, 10 people severely injured

Several Hindus had taken out a Ramnidhi Sangrahan rally in Ujjain to collect donations for the Ram Mandir constructions at Ayodhya when it was attacked by stones in a Muslim dominated area.

Muslim mob attacked Hindu groups who were carrying out a yatra. The muslim mob had resorted to severe pelting of stones at them near Begumbagh in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh, on Friday night.

Eyewitnesses say, a number of Hindus took part in the Ramnidhi Sangrahan rally in Ujjain to raise donations for the Ram Mandir construction in Ayodhya. The rally was scheduled to begin from the tower area and end at Bharat Mata Mandir in the Mahakal area.

As the rally entered the Muslim-dominated region of Begumbagh, a crowd was attacking the rally and pelted stones from the rooftops. The Hindu activists found themselves surrounded by heavy stone pelting and fled to safety. They left their vehicles on the spot, though. The video of mob violence has gone viral. The video shows how little girls, ladies, joined the men to pelt stones at the people who were in the Ramnidhi Sangrahan rally.

More than 10 people have sustained significant injuries and reported damage to their cars. The crowd even targeted and vandalised the cars that had been parked. The police have detained the perpetrator.
