Nepal’s Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba will arrive in New Delhi today on a three-day visit to India at the invitation of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. This will be the first bilateral foreign visit of the Prime Minister of Nepal after coming to power in July last year.
Deuba will call on Vice President Venkaiah Naidu and hold talks with Prime Minister Modi tomorrow. External Affairs Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar and National Security Advisor Ajit Doval will call on the Prime Minister of Nepal. Apart from government programs in New Delhi, Deuba will also visit Varanasi in Uttar Pradesh.
India and Nepal have a long and special relationship of friendship and cooperation. The recent years have seen considerable growth in all areas of cooperation between the two countries.
