The Department of Health and Family Welfare, in its order, has said that this decision was taken in view of the decrease in the Kovid infection rate in the national capital in the meeting of DDMA on March 31.
Wearing of masks is no longer mandatory in Maharashtra as well. No fine will be imposed in Maharashtra for not wearing a mask from April 2. After the reduction in corona cases, the Maharashtra Vikas Aghadi government had decided to lift all the Kovid-19 restrictions. Uddhav Thackeray’s government had said that the use of masks would be advised, but it would no longer be mandatory.
