Vishva Hindu Parishad has strongly condemned the efforts of Christian missionaries, leftists and people working on their behests to intimidate the rights of the tribal society, insult the revered saints and threaten the Chhattisgarhi society with the help of violence. Expressing grief over the incident of violence, vandalism and assault in Gundardehi two days back, Vishwa Hindu Parishad Union General Secretary Milind Parande today said that this is not a one-off incident. Even before this, on May 1, a malicious attempt was made to intimidate the local society by resorting to violence by the same people in village Tuegondi of Baloda district.
He expressed apprehension that these incidents were inspired by Maoist and Christian missionaries. The religious sentiments of the entire Hindu society have been hurt due to the indecent remarks made by the state president of Chhattisgarhia Kranti Sena, Amit Baghel in his speech on the saints and saints of the minority and non-violent Jain society. The state government should take strict steps in this matter and take action against the violent and social stigmas.
The conspiracies of the missionaries and Maoists to break the Hindu society by fighting among themselves are not hidden from anyone. The Hindu society has to be alert by understanding them. Vishwa Hindu Parishad is well aware of the ill-intentioned designs of such forces.
he demanded that
1) On May 25, the miscreants of the violence in Gundardehi and their leader Amit Baghel should be arrested by taking strict legal action under various sections of violence, inciting religious sentiments, disturbing social harmony, so that in future any person in the state could not break the peace system and unity of Hindu society.
2) The people of tribal society who have converted to Christian or Muslim should be deprived of the benefit of tribal reservation and;
3) The state government should compensate for the loss of businessmen and other citizens affected by the violence.
4) Amidst the threat of “janbali”, the state government should ensure the safety of saints, temples and their ashrams.
