PM Modi is likely to address around four rallies in Tamil Nadu. In this connection, BJP national General Secretary and Tamil Nadu in-charge C.T. Ravi has said that, “There is huge demand for Prime Minister Modi’s rallies and we will try to hold the maximum number of rallies subject to the availability of his time.

Senior representatives of the BJP’s coalition members will also share the stage with the Prime Minister at his rallies in Tamil Nadu.

“Tamil Nadu Chief Minister E. Palaniswami and Deputy Chief Minister O. Panneerselvam will share the stage with the Prime Minister,” Ravi said.

The BJP National President J.P. Nadda, Union Ministers Amit Shah, Rajnath Singh and Nitin Gadkari will also hold elections in Tamil Nadu.

Ravi further stated that the representatives of the coalition partners would take part in public meetings jointly.

A senior BJP leader clarified that, as the Assembly polls are being conducted in five states, it would be difficult for any one state to obtain the Prime Minister’s full time, spec.
The 234-member Tamil Nadu Assembly will go to the polls on 6 April. The findings will be released on May 2.

The BJP is vying for 20 seats in Tamil Nadu and is part of the AIADMK-led coalition. The PMK is also part of the coalition with AIADMK and BJP.

The BJP, which currently has no representation in the Tamil Nadu Assembly, is throwing all its strength into winning the maximum number of seats allotted to the party to make its presence felt in the 234-member House.

As the BJP’s star campaigner, Prime Minister Modi is expected to hold about 20 rallies in West Bengal and four to five rallies in Assam. In the run-up to the Bih, the Prime Minister addressed over a dozen rallies.
