An assistant sub-inspector of Delhi Police committed suicide here on Tuesday morning. Police gave this information. Ashok Yadav (55), posted in the traffic unit of Tughlaq Road circle in New Delhi, shot himself with his service pistol, they said.
Police received information at around 9 am that a dead body of a person was found in District Park, Sector 19, Dwarka. There is a bullet mark on the body. He said that he shot himself with his service pistol.
Police said, “The crime and FSL team inspected the spot. Investigation is on.” No conspiracy is suspected and no suicide note was found from the spot, he added. Police said Yadav is survived by his wife, three daughters and a son.
