Politics heats up in Bihar over journalist’s murder, BJP lashes out at Nitish

The murder of a journalist in Raniganj of Araria has created panic. The incident happened at 4 am today. The criminals entered the house and shot the journalist in the chest. Hearing the sound of gunshots, the people gathered around but by then the criminals fled away after committing the crime. In a hurry, the journalist was taken to the hospital, where the doctors declared him brought dead.

As soon as the information was received, the police reached the spot and got involved in the investigation. The journalist has been identified as Vimal Kumar Yadav. Police took the body into custody and sent it for postmortem. From SP to MP have reached the spot. After the murder of the journalist, there has been a ruckus in the state’s politics. The Bharatiya Janata Party fiercely attacked the Nitish government regarding this.

Family members say that in April 2019, Vimal’s younger brother Gabbu Yadav was murdered. At that time Gabbu Yadav was the Sarpanch of Belsara Panchayat. Vimal was the main witness in his brother’s murder case. The hearing of the case filed in the court was going on. The criminals have killed Vimal only to avoid punishment.
