Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated RapidX from Sahibabad in Ghaziabad today. This is the country’s first rapid train, which is being built to connect Delhi and Meerut. Today PM Modi inaugurated its section from Sahibabad to Duhai depot. Passengers will have to pay a fare of Rs 50 for this journey of 17 km. Whereas for premium class the fare for the same 17 km has been fixed at Rs 100.
A variety of facilities are being provided on the RapidX train and its stations. Let us know how cheaper and more expensive traveling by RapidX is compared to ordinary bus, Uber cab, Uber bike and auto.
If you go from Sahibabad to Duhai depot by boarding an ordinary bus of UP Roadways, then you will have to pay a ticket of Rs 30-35. This is an ordinary bus ticket, whereas for a premium bus you may have to spend more. You will have to spend less money in traveling from Sahibabad to Duhai by boarding an ordinary bus but it may take you 30-50 minutes to cover this distance of 17 km. Whereas in RapidX the same distance will be covered in 12-15 minutes.
