Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde has said that decisions on issues related to Dawood Ibrahim, Mumbai riots etc were not taken due to NCP’s alliance in the Uddhav Thackeray-led government. He has also said that so many MLAs have not taken the decision to form a new government for some small reason.
In an exclusive interview to news agency ANI, Shinde said whenever Hindutva issues came before the government, the government could not take a decision.
Despite being the Chief Minister of Shiv Sena, the party was not getting any benefit. He said, “We discussed many times with Uddhav Thackeray that we are not getting any benefit from Mahavikas Aghadi. Despite our party’s CM, we have come at No. 4 in Nagar Panchayat elections.
Eknath Shinde, while speaking in the assembly, had said that Shiv Sainiks could not raise their voice for Hindutva and also could not speak about Veer Savarkar, as Shiv Sena was in alliance with Congress and NCP.
