Stones pelted again on Vande Bharat Express in Bengal, window panes broken

In West Bengal, Vande Bharat Express was pelted with stones in Murshidabad district. At the time of the incident, the train was coming to Howrah via New Jalpaiguri when stones were pelted at the train near Farakka Bridge. The glasses of the C 31 coach of the train were damaged in the incident. The matter is being investigated.

Kaushik Mitra, CPRO, Eastern Railway said, “It is a very unfortunate incident. The incident will be investigated. Apart from this, people will be made aware so that such attacks do not happen in future. Railways has ordered an inquiry into the incident.”

The passengers of the train gave their complaint in this regard after reaching Howrah. Expressing anger, he said that in this way he has started getting scared due to repeated attacks on Vande Bharat Expressway. Let us inform that PM Modi flagged off the Vande Bharat Express in Bengal on 30 December. After this, this is the third incident of attack on this train. A few days after the train started, stones were pelted at the coaches of the train at Malda and then at Kishanganj.
