Sushant Singh Rajput’s house manager, Samuel Miranda, and househelp, Dipesh Sawant, made big revelations in their statements to the Narcotics Control Bureau. Both of them have been arrested by the agency along with Rhea Chakraborty’s brother Showik Chakraborty in drugs conspiracy. Miranda and Dipesh have given information of parties that used to be held at Sushant Singh Rajput’s farm house. They also revealed the name of the people, including Bollywood celebrities, who attended these parties, and who used to bring drugs to the parties.
During their questioning, Samuel Miranda and Dipesh Sawant suggested that Rhea Chakraborty was behind the purchase of illegal drugs for Sushant’s home. Samuel Miranda had confessed that he arranged weed for Sushant Singh Rajput from September 2019 to March 2020. He revealed that he used to procure weed for Rs 2,500 per packet from Showik Chakraborty’s friend Suryadeep who named Kamaljeet (KJ), another drug supplier. He further disclosed that Karmajeet used to deliver the weed to Waterstone Club, Prime Rose apartment (Rhea’s residence) and Mount Blanc apartment (Sushant’s residence).
On Saturday, a Magistrate court sent Showik Chakraborty and Samuel Miranda to NCB custody till September 9. Both have been arrested under Sections 8C, 28, and 29 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act.
On Sunday morning, the NCB team arrived at Rhea Chakraborty’s house in Mumbai to officially serve her summons for questioning. Rhea is expected to be confronted with Showik Chakraborty and others arrested in connection with the case.
