The formation of a new government in Afghanistan is likely by tomorrow. Taliban spokesman Zabiullah Mujahid said in Kabul that an announcement about the formation of the new government would now be made on Saturday. Taliban co-founder Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar is likely to be made the head of government.
Mufti Inamullah Samangani, a senior official at the Taliban’s Information and Culture Commission, said the new government and cabinet have been discussed.
