Amid the Israel-Iran conflict, crude oil prices have surged in the international market. In the last 24 hours, Brent crude has jumped nearly $4 per barrel to $78 per barrel and WTI crude has reached close to $74 per barrel. However, public sector oil and gas marketing companies have not made any changes in petrol-diesel prices on Friday.
In early trade on the fifth day of the week in the international market, Brent crude is trading at $77.67 per barrel, up $0.05 or 0.06%. West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude is also trading at $73.79 per barrel, up $0.08 or 0.11%.
According to Indian Oil’s website, petrol is available at Rs. 94.72 per litre in Delhi, diesel at Rs. 87.62 per litre, petrol at Rs. 104.21 per litre in Mumbai, diesel at Rs. 92.15 per litre, petrol at Rs. 103.94 per litre in Kolkata, diesel at Rs. 90.76 per litre, petrol at Rs. 100.75 per litre in Chennai and diesel at Rs. 92.34 per litre.
