“Truth, Development and Good Governance have prevailed in Haryana”: Modi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi stated that the victory of truth, development, and good governance has been achieved in Haryana. He mentioned that the people of Haryana have given the party a hat-trick of victories on the issue of development. Addressing party workers at the BJP headquarters in New Delhi following the historic assembly election results for the BJP in Haryana, Modi congratulated the people of Haryana and Jammu and Kashmir. He noted that the BJP is not only the largest party in the world but also resides in the hearts of most people. He pointed out that there have been 13 elections in Haryana so far, and in 10 of those elections, the people of Haryana changed the government every five years.

Regarding Jammu and Kashmir, he stated that after a decade of waiting, peaceful assembly elections were finally held in the region. He emphasized that the BJP emerged as the largest party in terms of vote share among all parties contesting in Jammu and Kashmir. The Prime Minister remarked that some people had claimed that if Article 370 was revoked, Kashmir would burn, but instead, Kashmir is flourishing beautifully.

Concerning a developed India, Modi highlighted the importance of four pillars: farmers, youth, women, and the poor. He stated that whether it is Jammu and Kashmir or Haryana, his government will always focus on these four pillars to make the country developed. Modi insisted that this mandate has strengthened India’s resolve to become the skill capital of the world and will provide new courage to make India safer and take even the toughest decisions. He assured that there will be even faster development across the country in the coming five years. The Prime Minister also accused the Congress party of tarnishing the image of every institution, be it the Election Commission, the police, or the judiciary.
