Turmoil in Maharashtra politics

The clouds of crisis are seen over the Maharashtra government. Shiv Sena leader and minister in the Uddhav government, Eknath Shinde, has reportedly moved out of Maharashtra along with several MLAs. It is claimed that Eknath Shinde is in Surat in Gujarat with about 29 MLAs. The phones of Eknath Shinde and the MLAs are also being told as ‘Not Reachable’. Not only this, Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray has called a meeting at the official residence, Varsha at 12 noon on Tuesday.

Eknath Shinde is believed to have no displeasure with the Shiv Sena high command. Even before this, when there was a coalition government of Shiv Sena and BJP, even then there were reports of his displeasure. At that time it was being said that he might join BJP. However, he rejected those claims.

Last year, Union Minister Rane had announced the inclusion of Eknath Shinde in the BJP soon. Rane had said that Eknath Shinde was the only minister left to sign the files. They are fed up with Shiv Sena. They will be added to us soon.
