A drive for medical education in Uttar Pradesh (UP), Chief Minister (CM) Yogi Adityanath has appealed to investors and the state diaspora in the United States (US to invest and help create a medical college in each of the 75 districts, Financial Express says.
CM Adityanath has promised that any facility will be given to those who wish to invest in the growth of the state. He said, “UP will do its best to fulfil Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Salt Dream
CM Adityanath said that when he assumed office in 2017, the state had just 12 medical colleges. He said that 30 more medical colleges are currently being established in different districts, and the state government is planning to create a medical college in each district.
It also highlighted the building of new highways, the growth of tourism, the opportunities in the food processing industry and the ‘one district, one commodity’ initiative in UP.
He also told about the construction of the Bundelkhand, Purvanchal and Ganga expressways by his government and said that these would accelerate the pace of growth in the state.
