A special NIA court today convicted Kashmiri separatist leader Yasin Malik in a case of providing funds to terrorists.
Convicting Malik, the court asked Yasin Malik to present his financial assessment. In addition, the NIA was directed to present his detailed report regarding the financial assessment of Malik in the court.
All the evidence gathered against Yasin Malik was presented in the special court of NIA in Delhi on Thursday. During this, the court also sought an affidavit from Yasin Malik regarding the details of his assets.
Not only this, the court also directed the NIA to submit a report related to the assets of Yasin Malik. With this, the judge announced to fix May 25 as the next date of hearing for the arguments on the sentence.
