Zubin Irani Helps Smriti Irani Get Through COVID Days, Sends Her Flowers

Smriti Irani tested positive for the novel coronavirus last week. The BJP minister announced the news on her official social media accounts.

The Union Minister, who is known for her hilarious and relatable posts, took to Instagram today to share how she is getting through these days after testing positive for Covid-19, and it is because of her husband’s adorable gesture.

The Union Minister took to the gram today to share her husband’s sweet gesture with her followers. She shared a picture of pretty bougainvillaea flowers in a vase on her Instagram stories. She captioned the image, “Thank you @iamzfi #gettingby (sic).”

After sharing the picture of the flowers, the BJP minister also shared a meme featuring Amitabh Bachchan’s famous dialogue from the film Mohabbatein.

The text on the meme read, “Non Gujarati friend: Why do Gujjus always carry thepla when they go out somewhere. Me: Parampara-Pratishta-Anushasan.” The meme cracked us up.

Recently, the Union Women and Child Development Minister announced that she tested positive for the novel coronavirus. Smriti Irani took to Twitter to share her diagnosis. “It is rare for me to search for words while making an announcement; hence here’s me keeping it simple – I’ve tested positive for Covid,” she had written.
