Avani had scored 249.6 in the Tokyo Paralympics to win the gold medal. This time, she improved her score to 249.7, breaking her own Paralympic record. With this achievement, Avani has become the first Indian woman athlete to win two gold medals in the Paralympics.
In this event, South Korea’s Yunri Lee secured the second position with a score of 246.8 and won the silver medal. Meanwhile, Indian shooter Mona Agarwal achieved third place with a score of 228.7, earning the bronze medal.
