India’s all-rounder Hardik Pandya blessed with baby boy

India all-rounder Hardik Pandya has become a father for the first time after he and his partner Natasa Santokiv welcomed a baby boy into their lives. Hardik took to social media on Thursday to share an adorable image of his newborn.

In the photo that is being widely shared on social media platforms, Hardik Pandya can be seen holding his child’s little hand.

“We are blessed with our baby boy,” Hardik Pandya wrote.

Wishes have started pouring in for Hardik Pandya and Natasa Stankovic as the likes of KL Rahul, Chris Lynn and Sania Mirza were among the first ones to congratulate the couple.

Hardik Pandya announced his engagement on New Year’s Eve during their year-end vacation to Dubai. Hardik and Natasa, a Mumbai-based Serbian actor, had been dating for quite some time before they made their relationship public on December 31.

Hardik proposed to Natasa on a yacht during their holiday in Dubai in the company of a few of their friends. Hardik said e had informed no one, including his brother Krunal, about his engagement to Natasa Stankovic.

The couple have been sharing photos from photoshoots done during the lockdown. Hardik has had the opportunity to spend time with his family due to the Covid-19 pandemic that has brought cricket in the country to a standstill.

In May, Hardik announced that his wife Natasa was pregnant and also shared a photo from their private ceremony.

“Natasa and I have had a great journey together and it is just about to get better. Together we are excited to welcome a new life into our lives very soon. We’re thrilled for this new phase of our life and seek your blessings and wishes,” Hardik had written while sharing a photo with his partner.’

‘She had no idea who I was during our first meeting’

Hardik, in a recent interview with Cricbuzz, recalled his first meeting with Natasa, saying his partner did not have any idea of who he was during their meet.

“She had no idea who I was. I got her by talking. She saw someone in a hat at a place where I met her, wearing a hat, a chain, a watch, at 1 AM. So she thought he is ‘alag prakaar ka aadmi aaya’ (different kind of person came). That is when I started talking to her, started knowing each other. Then, we started dating. Then got engaged on December 31,” Hardik said.

Hardik said he had the full support of his parents and that he started becoming a better person after meeting Natasa.

“My parents also didn’t know that I was getting engaged. Two days before (the engagement), I told Krunal. I told him, ‘I have had enough. I have found someone in my life who I actually love, and I am becoming better.’ They (family) backed me and told ‘do whatever you want, me and Kunal are riding on the same boat,” Pandya stated.

Natasa is a Serbian actress, who is currently based in Mumbai. She was first seen on the big screen in Prakash Jha’s 2013 film Satyagraha. She has been frequent on reality shows, She appeared in Bigg Boss Season 8. She also took part in Nach Baliye 9.
