BJP president JP Nadda on Wednesday accused Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee of being “anti-Dalit” for not yet condemning a Trinamool Congress (TMC) leader’s derogatory comment about people from Scheduled Caste (SC) communities.

“Today is Dr Bhim Rao Ambedkar’s 130th birth anniversary. Recently, a TMC leader used a derogatory remark against Dalit brothers that I can’t say here. i’m sad to ascertain that Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee is yet to condemn it. this is often nothing but the TMC’s anti-Dalit face,” Nadda said at an occasion in urban area .

Sujata Mondal Khan, the TMC candidate from Arambagh in Hooghly district, recently equated people from SC communities with beggars.

Later on Wednesday, Nadda asked the people of Bengal to ban Mamata Banerjee from politics by voting for the BJP. “She was banned by the committee (EC) for twenty-four hours recently. But you’ll ban her from politics forever by voting for the BJP,” the BJP president said at a public meeting in Purba Bardhaman district. Nadda lashed out at Mamata Banerjee over what he claimed were “personal attacks” on him, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah. “Can the language that Mamata Banerjee speaks be culture of Bengal? Can the words she wont to attack Modi ji and Amit Shah ji and me be the culture of Bengal? Each and each BJP worker may be a protector of Bengal’s culture,” he at another meeting in Purba Bardhaman’s Jamalpur area.
