The US has condemned the recent attacks on the minority Hindu community in Bangladesh. US State Department spokesman Ned Price took to Twitter to condemn attacks on Hindu temples and businesses in Bangladesh during the recent Durga Puja celebrations.
He urged the Bangladesh government to conduct a thorough investigation into the incident. The Spokesperson said that freedom of religion or belief is a human right and every person in the world, irrespective of religion or belief, should feel safe and cooperate in celebrating important festivals.
