Maharashtra Health Minister Rajesh Tope has said that the state government has written a letter to the central government asking for a ban on flights coming from there to Mumbai after the new variant of the corona – Omicorn surfaced in South Africa.
Talking to reporters in Jalna today, he said that the state government is taking all possible precautions to prevent new variants of corona.
He said that at present, strict surveillance is being done at the airport and swipe tests and screening are being done.
