Eligible beneficiaries in the age group of 15 to 18 years can register themselves on the Co-Win portal from tomorrow. The Health Ministry has said that the facility of registration will also be available for these beneficiaries at the vaccination center. The emergency use of another indigenously developed Kovid vaccine- Corbevax has got the approval of the Drug Controller General of India. Biologic-E Ltd’s Corbevax is India’s first protein based subunit vaccine for COVID-19. The Department of Biotechnology and its Public Sector Undertaking Biotechnology Industry Research Council have collaborated in the development of Corbewax. It was provided financial support under the Covid-19 Research Faculty and clinical trial support under Mission COVID Suraksha. Two doses of the Corbevax vaccine will be administered.

Delhi Health Minister Satyendar Jain has said that 46 percent of the total cases of Covid are of Omicron variant. Omicron cases are increasing continuously in the national capital.
