The National Commission for Women has taken cognizance of the violence that took place in Murshidabad, West Bengal during the protest against the Waqf Act. Commission member Dr. Archana Majumdar informed on Thursday that a delegation of the Commission will reach Malda on April 18. The delegation, led by Commission Chairperson Vijaya Rahatkar, will visit the violence-affected areas in Malda and Murshidabad.
