Preparations are on to start 5G services in the country by October this year. Communications Minister Ashwini Vaishnav said in New Delhi last evening that the aim is to create telecommunication infrastructure for rapid 5G implementation. The Communications Minister said that there are four basic components for smooth 5G services – spectrum allocation, reforming rights rules, permissions, cooperative federalism and ensuring access to services. The Delhi High Court has refused to stay the Agneepath scheme to recruit youth into the armed forces.
