The Indian Space Research Organisation on Monday released a fresh set of photographs of the surface of the moon and its craters taken by the Terrain Mapping Camera-2 of the Chandrayaan-2 spacecraft. According to ISRO, the pictures were taken on August 23 at an altitude of about 4,375 kms showing impact craters like Jackson, Mitra, Mach and Korolev. Global e-tailer Amazon’s Indian arm on Monday launched a military veterans’ employment programme to offer jobs to ex-servicemen and their spouses at its fulfilment, sort and delivery centres across the country. “The programme will be implemented in partnership with the Director-General of Resettlement and the Army Welfare Placement Organisation,” Amazon India said in a statement here.
