ACB has arrested PA and another relative of Aam Aadmi Party’s Model Town MLA Akhilesh Pati Tripathi. For the Aam Aadmi Party ticket in the municipal elections, a deal was made with a businessman named Gopal Khari for Rs 90 lakh. When the ticket was not received even after paying Rs 55 lakh, Gopal Khari complained to the ACB.
The ACB caught the three red-handed while returning Rs 33 lakh from Model Town by laying a trap. Out of this Rs 35 lakh was given to Tripathi and Rs 20 lakh to Wazirpur MLA Rajesh Gupta at the behest of Tripathi.
After receiving the complaint from Gopal, the ACB officials formed a team. On Tuesday, Om Singh reached Gopal’s house along with Akhilesh’s husband Tripathi’s PA Vishal Pandey and another Prince Raghuvanshi and started returning Rs 33 lakh. The ACB team arrested all three red-handed from the spot. A total of Rs 33 lakh was recovered from them. The ACB team has registered a case against them and started investigation.
