Bharatiya Janata Party has expelled its MLA Shobharani Kushwaha, who did ‘cross voting’ in the Rajya Sabha elections in Rajasthan, in the Rajya Sabha elections held on June 10, Kushwaha violated the party whip in favor of Congress candidate Pramod Tiwari Voting was done. The BJP had issued a show cause notice on the same day suspending Kushwaha from the party.
The MLA was to reply to it by June 19, but before that he issued a statement in the media and targeted the party. The MLA said that the party asked him to vote for such an independent candidate in the Rajya Sabha elections who were openly discussing ‘cross voting’.
