CBI team is raiding various places of Rashtriya Janata Dal chief Lalu Prasad, his wife and former Chief Minister Rabri Devi, daughter and Rajya Sabha member Misa Bharti and other family members in connection with railway job scam. These raids are being conducted in Patna, Gopalganj and Delhi.
A team of CBI reached Rabri Devi’s residence in Patna today and interrogated her. The CBI has registered a new case against Lalu Prasad in which he is accused of taking a plot of land in lieu of giving him a job in the Railways.
As soon as the news of the CBI raids on former Chief Minister Lalu Yadav’s house and other places spread to his supporters, politicians and RJD MLAs started visiting his house. RJD supporters are also raising slogans against this action of CBI against their leader.
At the same time, lawyers have also reached Lalu Yadav’s house to give legal advice in this matter. RJD supporters have to say that this is a very old matter about which only Lalu Yadav is being harassed. Lalu supporters say that the CBI has no evidence.
