During the survey at Gyanvapi in Varanasi, the Shivling found in a room has proved itself that it is a temple. This was stated by Shri Alok Kumar, International Working President and Senior Advocate of Vishwa Hindu Parishad.
According to Alok Kumar, during the survey in Gyanvapi temple, Shivling has been found in one of the rooms and it is news of great joy. He said that the Shivling was found in the presence of both the parties and their lawyers. Therefore the place with Shivling is a temple. This fact has proved itself that the temple is still there and was there in 1947 also.
He has expressed hope that all the countrymen will accept and respect this evidence found during the survey in Gyanvapi. Shri Alok Kumar is confident that after getting the Shivling, the natural consequences of it, the country will move in that direction. He told that the court has preserved, sealed the Shivling part of Gyanvapi. It is the responsibility of the police officers that there is no tampering there. He expressed confidence that this subject will reach its result.
Mr. Alok Kumar said that since the matter is still in the court, it would not be appropriate to comment further. After the decision of the court comes, Vishwa Hindu Parishad will consider it further and only then it will be decided what next step will be taken.
We had said that we will wait for the court’s decision till the construction of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi temple. Now in the changed circumstances, we will request this matter to the revered saints in the meeting of our Kendriya Margdarshak Mandal to be held in Haridwar on June 11-12.
