Home Minister Amit Shah will give a statement on the firing incident in Nagaland in Parliament later this afternoon. The issue of firing was raised in both the houses of Parliament today. The issue was raised in Lok Sabha by Tokheho Yethomi, Member of Parliament from Nagaland, NDD.
Other opposition members also raised the issue. The Speaker of the Lok Sabha told the House that Home Minister Amit Shah would make a statement on this issue after the lunch break.
On the other hand, in the Rajya Sabha too, Chairman M Venkayanaidu informed the members that after the lunch break, the Home Minister would present the government’s side in the House.
