Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the Global Patidar Business Conclave in Surat, Gujarat, through video conference today. The purpose of this conference, organized in Sardardham under Mission 2026, is to emphasize on the social and economic development of the Patidar community.

He said that this confidence will come only when everyone’s participation in development is ensured. Modi said that the production promotion scheme has created opportunities for the development of new sectors like semiconductors along with encouraging Make in India in old sectors.

The Prime Minister said that despite the Corona pandemic, the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) with the support of the government are performing well and contributing to the economic development of the country.
