A case has been registered against two people for cow slaughter and selling beef in Gujarat’s Surat. According to the report of ‘Divya Bhaskar’, Ismail Yusuf, who runs a snack shop in Kosadi village of Mangrol panchayat, sells samosas stuffed with beef.
The police got information that the accused Mosli, who was selling beef, was about to pass through Char Road. The police had already laid a trap. The police team stopped a suspicious rickshaw passing through the four way and started searching. During this, the police seized 2 kg of samosas from the rickshaw and arrested the accused Ismail Yusuf.
After his arrest, the police recovered 45 samosas from his possession. An officer of Surat rural police said that the Mangrol police station in Surat district received a tip-off that samosas filled with beef were being carried in an auto rickshaw. When the police stopped the auto in the area of Masal police station and checked it, they found samosas filled with beef. During police interrogation, he confessed that he used to make samosas containing beef.
