Maharashtra’s Minority Affairs Minister and NCP leader Nawab Malik has tendered an unconditional apology before the Bombay High Court for his remarks against NCB Regional Director Sameer Wankhede and his family. Malik said he had no intention of disrespecting or humiliating him.
The petition was presented before a division bench of SJ Kathawala and Milind Jadhav by Dhyandev Wankhede, father of Sameer Wankhede.
Accepting the affidavit and the apology by the court, the Bench observed that Mr. Malik being a minister, proper forum should be used before speaking against any public official.
