No proposal to start China’s app closed

The government has said that there is no proposal to restart the Chinese app that was closed earlier in the country. In a written reply in Lok Sabha, Minister of Electronics and Information Technology Ashwini Vaishnav said that there are many internet browsers available including open source browsers.

He said that there is a need for broad consensus for the regulation of cyber crime with the border states.
