In the same interview, when asked about Prime Minister Narendra Modi exercising restraint, Marwat replied, “Is Modi my aunt’s son that he will step back on my saying?”
Sher Afzal Khan Marwat has been associated with Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf in the past, however he was removed from key party positions by Imran Khan due to his critical remarks.
The Indian Prime Minister has held meetings with the three service chiefs after the Pahalgam attack that killed 26 Indian civilians. There is great anxiety in Pakistan after India indicated a strong response, while some Pakistani leaders are threatening India by mentioning nuclear weapons.
