Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has expressed gratitude for the greetings and good wishes extended by leaders across the world on India’s 76th Republic Day. In particular, he publicly thanked President Emmanuel Macron of France and Prime Minister Micheal Martin of Ireland for their messages. He posted his responses on social media platform X, in which he mentioned that he will soon meet President Macron during the planned AI Action Summit in France.
Similarly, Shri Modi has also given respectful replies to the leaders of neighbouring countries, especially the Prime Minister of Nepal, the President of Maldives, and the Prime Minister of Bhutan. While responding to their warm messages on X, Prime Minister Modi also highlighted the significance of India completing 75 years of Republic and expressed hope for enhanced cooperation in the times to come.
Thailand’s Prime Minister Patongtarn Shinawatra also extended greetings on the occasion, to which Prime Minister Modi expressed gratitude and underlined the importance of India’s deeper engagement with Thailand in developing regional connectivity and people-to-people understanding.
Through these responses, Mr Modi has not only conveyed India’s spirit of friendship and respect to global leaders but is also reestablishing India’s active and important role in international forums.
