The controversy regarding Ramcharitmanas does not seem to be stopping. Education Minister of Bihar Prof. Chandrashekhar first raised questions on Ramcharit Manas written by Tulsidas. The matter had not completely settled down yet that in the meantime Swami Prasad Maurya, who had gone from BJP to Samajwadi Party, has given a controversial statement regarding this. Describing Ramcharit Manas as nonsense, Swami has demanded to ban it.
In an interview given to a private media channel, SP leader Swami Prasad termed Ramcharitmanas as nonsense and said that many crores of people do not read it. Tulsidas wrote it for his own pleasure. While urging the government, he said that whatever objectionable part is there in Ramcharitmanas, it should be thrown out. Rather this book should be banned. Swami Prasad Maurya further said that, Brahmin may be vicious, illiterate and illiterate but still he is worshipable. Such a religion should be destroyed, which wants our destruction.
Referring to the contractors of religion, Maurya said that there are only a handful of people who earn their livelihood from this. He says that the sentiments of Hindus are getting hurt. Let us tell you that on this statement of Swami, there are full chances of the country’s politics heating up. BJP is not going to leave this controversial statement of Swamy empty handed. Now it has to be seen what will be the stand of all the political parties on this statement.
In his statement, the SP leader also made negative remarks on Peethadhishwar Dhirendra Shastri of Bageshwar Dham. According to Swami Prasad Maurya, Pandit Dhirendra Krishna Shastri is not propagating Sanatan Dharma but doing the work of burying it.
