PM Modi tweeted, “On the occasion of the birth anniversary of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, a defender of human rights and freedom,” Modi tweeted. “He is also a hero to all Indians. “It would be an honour for me to travel to Bangladesh later this month for the historic #MujibBorsho celebrations,” he wrote. PM Modi will travel to Bangladesh on March 26 and 27, his first visit to a foreign country since the coronavirus pandemic began. During his visit, Modi will be the honoured guest at Bangladesh’s national day celebration on March 26. Modi will visit President Mohammad Abdul Hamid and Foreign Minister AK Abdul Momen in addition to bilateral talks with Hasina.
