At least 22 security personnel were killed in the deadly attack on the CoBRA battalion of CRPF by the Maoists. The naxals announced that they had abducted the missing CRPF jawan after the ambush in the forests of Chhatisgarh.

It was an emotional moment at the home of missing CRPF soldier Rakeshwar Singh Manhas when his 5-year-old daughter pleaded with the naxals to release her father, who had reportedly been abducted by them.

“Please release my father,” pleaded Shragvi, the five-year-old daughter of a CoBRA commando kidnapped by Naxals after an ambush in Chhattisgarh. This was all Shragvi could say as she wiped away her tears.

The family of Commando Rakeshwar Singh Minhas was in a state of shock after learning of the deadly ambush and his disappearance on Saturday. At least 22 security personnel were killed in an ambush on the CRPF’s CoBRA battalion by Naxals who claimed to have abducted Minhas after the ambush.
