Ariz Khan was sentenced to death by the Delhi court on Monday for the murder of police inspector Mohan Chand Sharma and other crimes linked to the 2008 Batla House conference.
The police demanded the death penalty for Khan, who was reportedly affiliated with Indian Mujahideen’s terror outfit, and said it was not only a murder but a murder of a law enforcement officer who was a guardian of justice.
