Birthday wishes pour in for Actor Sonu Sood but Smriti Irani’s wishes are simply hilarious

Sonu Sood is celebrating his 47th birthday today. Birthday wishes having been pouring in for the actor on social media. Right from politicians and his industry friends to fans, everyone extended their warm wishes to the actor who is being hailed as a real-life hero for his relentless efforts to help migrants amid the novel coronavirus outbreak.

Union Minister Smriti Irani also took to Instagram to wish her friend Sonu Soon on his special day. Must we add, her birthday wish is simply hilarious.

She posted a black and white photo of Sonu on her Instagram stories. “Happy ka Sonu, Sonu Sood,” she wrote on the image. But that’s not all. She also confessed being a “phakkad friend” for not sending him cake or flowers, and just wishing him on Instagram.

“When your phakkad friends wish you only on Insta and don’t send cakes or flowers (sic),” she wrote with a laughing emoji.

Earlier today, filmmaker and choreographer Farah Khan also wished the actor with an Instagram post.

Punjab CM Captain Amarinder Singh and N Chandrababu Naidu also extended their greetings to the actor.

Sonu Sood has been making headlines for helping migrants during the novel coronavirus outbreak. The actor helped many people, who were stuck during the lockdown, return to their respective states. Recently, he also launched a special app Pravasi Rojgar for migrants to find job opportunities amid the pandemic.
