Air Chief Marshal Vivek Ram Choudhary took over as the Chief of the Air Staff in New Delhi today. An alumnus of the National Defense Academy, Air Chief Marshal Choudhary was commissioned into the Air Force in December 1982. He flew for more than three thousand eight hundred hours on several fighter and trainer aircraft.
On this occasion, VR Choudhary said that the sovereignty and integrity of the country has to be protected at any cost. He talked about the aspects of acquisition of new technology, promotion of indigenization and innovation, meeting the demands of the future.
