AS India struggles to breathe in through the pandemic with 3,60,960 fresh Covid-19 cases, the entire world is watching India. The White House’s chief medical adviser, Dr Anthony Fauci, voiced out that affluent countries around the globe have failed to give adequate global aid and assistance to help India fight the ongoing Covid-19 crisis, and that rich countries should take on more responsibilities to lend a helping hand.

“The only way that you’re getting to adequately answer a worldwide pandemic is by having a worldwide response, and a worldwide response means equity throughout the planet ,” Dr. Fauci told the Guardian Australia.

He added, “And that’s something that, unfortunately, has not been accomplished. Often once you have diseases during which there’s a limited amount of intervention, be it therapeutic or prevention, this is often something that each one the countries that are relatively rich countries or countries that have a better income need to pay more attention to.”

India, within the last 24 hours, recorded 3,60,960 fresh Covid-19 cases and three ,293 deaths, which is that the highest within the country thus far . With today’s numbers, the entire number of coronavirus cases rose to 1,79,97,267 and therefore the number of fatalities reached 2,01,187. at the present , there are 29,78,709 active cases in India and as many as 1,48,17,371 people have recovered.
